A Couple of Things, While My Internet Works

Aigaion Girl. I'm still plodding along with edits, and I'm actually just about done, I think. I've just got finish up a couple of things, then put it all back together and see how it reads. Overall, I'm quite impressed with myself.

Also, NaNoWriMo. Who's entering? Any ideas what you're going to write about? Any idea what I'm talking about. If not, I strongly suggest you check out their website. A/G is a NaNo story, and I'm looking forward to doing another one this year, if I can figure out what to write about. It has to be something that requires almost no research, because the Internet here is so sporadic and the closest thing we have to a library is a shelf with books that got left behind in hotel rooms (actually, I nearly stole The Gargoyle from an empty room last week, but ended up thinking better of it and putting it in the lost and found). Most of them look like Crap, but I'm going to have to start reading them soon anyway, on account of having only brought Pride and Prejudice with me and having finished it the week before last.

Also, I've been crazy busy with edits, and haven't gotten around to writing my prompt story yet, though I really, really want to.

I think that's all for now, folks. I've got some other places to visit before my Internet craps out on me again.

I'm prolly going to enter again this year...and it'll be much, much easier to write with a certain brother of ours gone to uni...

I think I might write one of the sequels to the Story that Rainbow Brite Spawned...I got a good idea before bubbl.us erased it...

Also, if The Gargoyle goes unclaimed, try reading it. I dare you to get beyond page 14 before you throw it across the room >:)

I have no idea what I want to write, but there's a 10 day shutdown here at the end of Oct, through the first four days of November, so I'm thinking I'll use the October days to plan and the November days to write like a maniac.

So, do I write something completely new, or dig through old story notes of things unwritten?

Didn't you have a new story in mind for nano this year? It's late, and I can't remember which one it was, but I thought you'd mentioned something...

A new story might require a lot of research...then again, so might an old one...and then again, again, it might be better to do an old one just to get it done...it's all a matter of what feels right, I suppose...

Whatever. I've already got two and a bit chapters thought out. I really want to write this thing now...I'm even making the playlist. And, once again, I have no idea what to call it. I'm thinking "Self-indulgent Nonsense" doesn't send the right message...

Also, bubbl.us pulled that stupid crap again and erased most of my story ideas. Thankfully, I'd printed out a screen cap of most of what I had...

I kind of want to try NaNo, but then again, it kind of scares me. It's all so...official.

It's not so bad...I signed up last year and didn't even write anything. >:)

I did have an idea in mind, but I think it'll need way too much research for me to do it here.

So I'm kind of still at a loss... I'm thinking I might rewrite something existing, but that feels like cheating.

E, you should definitely do it. It's cool, 'cause there's really zero pressure. I started Aigaion last year because of NaNo, and even though I came nowhere near winning, I still finished the story.

(Which reminds me, I'm almost done editing)
